
Chauncey McLean
President & Co-Founder
Chauncey McLean is the President and Co-Founder of Future Forward, which was the largest outside spender in the 2020 presidential election. Since 2018, Chauncey has raised over $600 million to support Democrats and progressive causes.
Chauncey was a senior member of the Obama-Biden advertising team in 2012. After the election, he founded a media startup, Analytics Media Group (AMG), where he advised on the advertising campaigns of some of America’s top companies.
Chauncey graduated from New York University (’05) and the University of Washington School of Law (’09).

Katie Petrelius
Senior Advisor
Katie Petrelius is a Senior Advisor for Future Forward. She most recently served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the Office of Presidential Personnel in the Biden White House.
Katie also served as President Biden’s National Finance Director for the 2020 Campaign and, previously, as the Development Director of the Biden Foundation.

Jon Fromowitz
Co-Founder
Jon Fromowitz is Co-Founder of Future Forward, where he leads advertising and opinion research work. He has worked at the intersection of data, messaging development, and paid media for nearly two decades, working for Democratic campaigns from Long Island to Kansas. He has held senior roles on Presidential campaigns since 2012. He produced some of the most memorable and effective advertising for President Biden's 2020 campaign, including an ad narrated by Sam Elliott that aired nationally during the World Series.

Gaurav Shirole
Co-Founder
Gaurav Shirole is a co-founder of Future Forward, the leading outside organization supporting President Biden’s re-election, and executive director of its sister organization OpenLabs, where he oversees measurement and analytics for advertising, news, and social media. Previously, he was the Senior Director of Ad Measurement at Roku, where he led the team responsible for quantifying the effectiveness for over $1B in annual ad spend on the streaming platform from Fortune 500 brands to performance marketers as well measurement product development and M&A (DataXu, Quibi, and Nielsen AVA).
He started his career in consulting before leading Digital Advertising Analytics for the Obama re-election campaign in 2012. He went on to spend the next decade in ad tech, including co-founding a TV measurement firm, which worked on measuring brand and sales impact for the marketing and corporate affairs budgets of large consumer brands including Walmart, Uber, and others before eventually being acquired by iSpot.tv.

Kate Wilson-Melin
Chief Operating Officer
Kate is the Chief Operating Officer of Future Forward and before that was Chief of Staff at Future Forward. Prior to her work at Future Forward, Kate was the Chief of Staff for Nevada Lieutenant Governor Kate Marshall.
Kate has also served as Regional Media Director at Priorities USA, where she developed and oversaw the digital paid media strategy for competitive Senate and Gubernatorial races in states including Arizona, Maine, Missouri, and Nevada. She was also a Regional Paid Media Director for Hillary for America in 2016.
Kate is based in Reno, Nevada with her husband and two children.

Kevin Geiger
Finance Director
Kevin Geiger is the Finance Director of Future Forward, and co-founder and partner at Blue Wave, one of the leading political fundraising, digital, and compliance firms in the country.
His other Blue Wave current clients include – U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, Rep. Marilyn Strickland, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, and many other national c(4) and c(3) organizations and candidates running for office. Kevin started his political career in Seattle while he was waiting tables, stocking beer, and interning on campaigns. Originally from New York, has spent significant time living in Egypt and Canada, and is based in Seattle.

Addisu Demissie
Advisor
Addisu Demissie is a seasoned political strategist with two decades of experience, founding principal of 50+1 Strategies, and has led high-profile campaigns, including those for U.S. Senator Cory Booker and California Governor Gavin Newsom. He managed Booker's 2020 presidential run and advised Newsom's 2021 anti-recall campaign. As a senior advisor to Future Forward USA, he supports President Biden and was a key organizer of the 2020 Democratic National Convention. A Yale graduate and former national political director for Obama's Organizing for America, he has also served as a consultant for various campaigns in California. He holds fellowships at the University of Chicago and USC, and serves on several nonprofit boards. Demissie resides in Oakland, California, with his family, enjoying running and sports.

Ishanee Parikh
Creative Director
Ishanee brings over a decade of experience working on campaigns and government, with a focus on video and communications. She has produced ads for Democratic campaigns across the country, including the Obama re-election campaign in 2012. In 2020, Ishanee ran the largest paid media independent expenditure as Creative Director for Future Forward/OpenLabs, a progressive nonprofit that spent over $175 million in the 2020 election cycle. Before that, Ishanee worked for the City of New York at the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Education.
